A steel toe cap is heavier and provides excellent impact protection for heavy industrial environments. A composite toe cap (available on the Defender 111) is lighter, non-metallic — so it passes airport-style metal detectors — and does not conduct heat or cold, making it ideal for UAE's extreme temperatures and secure site environments.
Both meet EN ISO 20345:2011 certification. If you work in oil & gas, secure facilities, or need to pass metal detectors regularly, composite toe is the better choice. For heavy construction or steelwork, steel toe is recommended.

- 832 Airwalk — lightest shoe in the range. Best for workers who are on their feet all day in UAE summer heat.
- 111 Defender — maximum protection. Steel or composite toe with Kevlar midsole. Best for heavy construction and groundwork.
- 2092 S Series — ideal for oil & gas and environments with sharp underfoot hazards.
Yes. All SLIMTA safety shoes are available in sizes EU 36–48, covering both men's and women's sizing. The Jailbreak 666, Airwalk 832, and Flyer 333 are most popular with female professionals for their lighter weight and sportier fit.

For daily maintenance, wipe down with a damp cloth after each use. For deeper cleaning, use mild soap and water — avoid soaking and allow to air dry away from direct sunlight or heat sources. Do not machine wash. For the insole, remove it weekly and air it out to prevent odour buildup.
SLIMTA safety shoes are sized in EU measurements and generally run true to size. If you are between sizes or have wider feet, we recommend going one size up to allow for work socks and foot swelling during long shifts in UAE's heat.

Yes. We offer free size exchanges within 14 days of delivery. The shoes must be unworn and in their original packaging. Contact us on WhatsApp +971 50 968 0530 or email info@slimta.com and we will arrange the exchange for you.
Yes. We offer free delivery on all orders over AED 100 across all UAE emirates — Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah, and Umm Al Quwain. Orders are dispatched from Ajman via Aramex.

Yes. We deliver to all GCC countries — Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Oman. International shipping rates apply for GCC deliveries. Contact us on WhatsApp for a shipping quote if your order is large.
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive an Aramex AWB (tracking number) by SMS and email. Visit our order tracking page, enter your AWB number, and you will be taken directly to the Aramex live tracking page.
Yes, Cash on Delivery is available for UAE orders. Select COD at checkout. Please ensure someone is available at the delivery address to receive and pay for the order.

Refunds are processed within 2–3 business days of us receiving the returned item. The refund will be returned to your original payment method. Card refunds may take 3–7 business days to appear depending on your bank.

Yes. We issue VAT-compliant tax invoices for all orders. Email info@slimta.com with your order number and company TRN number after placing your order and we will send you the invoice within 24 hours.
You can modify or cancel your order within 2 hours of placing it by contacting us on WhatsApp +971 50 968 0530. After 2 hours, the order may already be packed and dispatched. In that case, you can use our free returns process once you receive it.
Yes. All SLIMTA safety shoes are certified to EN ISO 20345:2011 — the internationally recognised standard for safety footwear. This standard is accepted by UAE construction authorities, oil & gas operators, and industrial site managers as the qualifying standard for mandatory safety footwear PPE.
EN ISO 20345 is the European and international standard that defines minimum requirements for safety footwear. Every shoe carrying this certification has passed independent testing for:
- Toe cap impact resistance — 200 joules
- Toe cap compression resistance
- Sole penetration resistance
Different classifications (SBP, S1P, S3) indicate additional protections. Read our full certification guide →
- SBP — Steel toe cap + penetration-resistant midsole. Airwalk 832, Flyer 333, Ryder 223.
- S1P — SBP + antistatic properties + energy-absorbing heel. S804, Defender 111.
- S3 — S1P + water resistance + cleated outsole. 2092 S Series.
For most UAE construction and warehousing roles, SBP or S1P is sufficient. S3 is recommended for oil & gas and outdoor environments with water exposure.
The EN ISO 20345 certification and CE mark are stamped on the inner sole or tongue label of every SLIMTA safety shoe. Look for the CE symbol followed by the classification code (e.g. SBP or S1P).
